Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) QB Nino Freeman has committed to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. This game is loaded with some great quarterback talent and Nino is coming all the way from Florida to represent and show off his skills as well.
Nino Freeman is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound QB who has a cannon of an arm with some elite precision to go along with it. After transferring in, he would lead Escambia to a 9-3 season, winning a playoff game but being knocked out in the second round, all while passing for 1800 yards and 20 touchdowns. His throwing ability is very impressive, but he is also very agile with some quickness and uses his long strides to chew up tons of ground in the running game. Nino handles his business in the classroom as well, sporting a 3.2 GPA. He also is a multi-sport athlete as he is very talented on the baseball field, playing center field and being a middle of the lineup hitter for his high school teams. On-field talent is clearly there but this kid is also a leader that can easily motivate and focus the others around him which is essential at the quarterback position.
While he has already received some offers, the bowl game is a huge opportunity for him to get some new eyes on him and for him to prove that he deserves the opportunity to play at these schools. He is definitely a player to keep on your watchlist for the bowl game as he is pumped up for the game and confident that he will impress those watching online and the fans in attendance.
I’m just ready to go out there and show that I can lead any team that I’m on. People gravitate to me, especially my guys, they want to play for me so it makes me want to play for them. I just want to make their job easier and we can have some fun and win the game.
