The number one recruiting class in the country continues to pile up elite talent as LSU gets another top notch prospect for the 2025 class in Westgate High School (New Iberia, LA) four star cornerback Jaboree Antoine.
The New Iberia native is one of the top players in the state of Louisiana and made his announcement to commit to the Tigers after just taking a visit today. The 6’2, 180 pound talented cornerback chose the Tigers over other top SEC program names such as Texas and Tennessee.
Antoine is ranked by all of the recruiting sites as a four star prospect and is currently the number two player in the state of Louisiana for his class as well as the number three overall cornerback prospect in the country.
The New Iberia native burst onto the scene his sophomore season in which he threw for 1,650 yards and 12 touchdowns as a quarterback while also notching 32 tackles, 11 PBUs, and five interceptions on defense.
Playing a big role in Antoine’s recruitment is newly hired defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, who as also a New Iberia native, formed a relationship in recruiting while he was at the University of Florida.
The new LSU commit was inspired to stay in his home state and bring back DBU back to LSU.
With this recent addition, it is now the ninth commitment of the 2025 class for Brian Kelly and company, which also includes the number one quarterback, running back, and wide receiver.
