Talamesi Albert is a 5’10, 210lbs. RB/LB from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who attends Woodlawn Middle School and recently participated in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game for Junior High. Talamesi is a very prodigious student athlete at his school in both the classroom and on the field. He has a GPA of a 3.8, a speed of 5.08/40, and has played 8 seasons of football on both offense and defense. In his previous season, Talamesi had averaged 2 sacks, 7 tackles, 30 rushing yards, and 70 receiving yards in each game.
What are some things you have overcome in life?
Things that I have overcome in life would be being told that I am too big for my positions and not being fast enough for my positions.
What are your biggest accomplishments?
Making the Gridiron football game and being able to start in the game.
What player do you compare yourself to and why?
The players I try to imitate are Christian McCaffrey because he ia a dual threat running back and Luke Kuechly was a dual threat linebacker.
What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?
I never want to be done with football, whether that’s playing it, coaching it, or helping it. I always want to be involved with football.
What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?
I like the sport of football because you really need to have that bond with all of your teammates and coaches. It is significant to me because it builds a brotherhood with everybody that you have played with.
What did it mean to be able and play in the Gridiron football Bowl game?
Being able to play in the Gridiron football game meant to me that all the I did didn’t go unnoticed and I was rewarded for what I have put into the sport of football.
What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?
An interesting fact about me outside of football is that I play the ukulele and I have two dogs.
What is your dream school to play for in college?
My dream school to play for is USC.
