Tulane Upsets USF

The Tulane Green Waves came out and dominated in every way possible against the University South Florida Bulls. This was Tulane first win in Florida since 1977. Quarterback, Justin McMillan(12) lead by example scoring the first of many Green Waves touchdown early in the first quarter. Darius Bradwell(10) ran for 135 yards on 15 carries and scored a touchdown. Another key component to this offense was Corey Dauphine(6) ran for 114 yards on 16 carries with 2 touchdowns. These two interchangeable running backs make this offense even more explosive and unstoppable. The Green Waves had a total of 429 yards offensively. The Bulls took a 3-0 lead and the Green Waves answered back with 34 straight points.

The Green Waves defense contained the Bulls offense, giving their own offense more time to execute as much as possible. This defense forced 3 turnovers including 2 fumbles, Junior, Safety, Larry Bryant(4) and Junior, Safety, P.J Hall(16) caused those 2 fumbles that contributed to this Green Waves win. Senior, Linebacker, Zachery Harris(40) intercepted the Bulls ball and ran it for 12 yards. The defense totaled 66 tackles and 46 of them being solo tackles along with 5 sacks. Every step this USF offense took, the Green Wave defense was 3 steps ahead. Ready, determined, and focus are words that perfectly describe the game that this Tulane Football team had this evening with the 41-15 victory over USF.
