Oak Grove High School is a public school located in Oak Grove, Louisiana. The football team has been ran by head coach Ryan Gregory, for he has been the head coach at the school now for 11 years. With his time at the school he has won 4 State Championships, along with 1 runner up finish. This makes it a total of 5 State Championships won at Oak Grove in school history. Coach Gregory explained that he has been blessed with a great group of players each year he has coached. This has been the key to his success at Oak Grove. With Coach Gregory’s time at Oak Grove he has only had one losing season, with the rest being all successful seasons. When talking with Coach Gregory he explained that this year’s success has been due to the great group around him, but a few players have stuck out this season. Those players being Quarterback Jackson Bradley, Tight End JT Layton, Running Back/Wide Receiver Jay Freeman, and Defensive End Isaiah Joles. Oak Grove will look to achieve their 6th State Championship this year.
