Kinder High School defensive back Noah Romero has committed to play in the 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
Playing both sides of the football for the Yellow Jackets, the 6’0, 175 pound athlete has been a versatile playmaker over his prep career. As a junior, Romero made 2nd Team All-District as a running back and linebacker.
He followed that up with a big time senior season making 1st Team All-District on both sides of the football. Defensively, Romero had 78 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five pass breakups, two interceptions, three quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. Stuffing the stat sheet, he also had 17 catches for 343 yards and six touchdowns as a receiver on offense.
The district defensive MVP attacks every play with 100% full speed and that has surely helped him receive interest from Belhaven and McNeese State. In the classroom, he also has a 3.8 GPA and a 18 on the ACT.
When not playing football, Romero is also a crawfish farmer as he enjoys hunting, cooking, training, and working on his craft.
Noah Romero will get one more chance to show off his skills at the upcoming 2024 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, December 30th.
