High School Football Recruiting: Archbishop Hannan High School

Josh Sibley played football for approximately thirteen years. He is now a scout with Louisiana Gridiron Football and is currently scouting high school level talent throughout Louisiana. He hopes to help recruits reach their full potential and get to that next level of play.

Archbishop Hannan is located in Covington, LA. Last season they finished with a district record of 2-2 and an overall record of 9-3.

Dawson Millen          Size|5| Speed|7| Strength|6| Technique|5| Hands|7| Overall|6.0|

JR WR/RB

Height: 5.10

Weight: 175

3 Star Recruit

Positives

  • Good speed

Negatives

  • Needs bulk

Overall

Dawson has good speed and vision, that he uses to get through traffic and find the hole behind his blockers. He could use some extra bulk and also practice his footwork in the off-season because he has a tendency to take a false step at the snap of the ball. He has good hands and has the ability to high point the ball. Could be a DI FCS or DII prospect. Here is a link. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/6781856/5a6cc6ec688eb72758ec8d5e

4 Star Recruit

Positives

  • High motor
  • Quick initial first step

Negatives

  • Needs bulk

Overall

Carter has good technique and shows good initial quickness off the ball. He uses his hands well to keep blockers at a distance and keeps his eyes in the backfield for the ball carrier. He has good size, but could add some extra bulk to his frame. Could be used as a rush OLB in a 3-4 scheme. Could be DI FBS or FCS prospect. • Good speed
  • Good vision

Negatives

  • Needs size

Overall

Brendan has good speed and vision, and is patient behind his his blockers, allowing them to develop. He has a nose for the first down marker, and is constantly moving the sticks. He should look to add some extra bulk in the off season. Also, has good ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Could be a DI FCS prospect. JR DB

Height: 5.09

Weight: 165

4 Star Recruit

Positives

  • Great vision
  • Tracks down ball in the air

Negatives

  • Needs bulk

Overall

Cameron has great vision and uses it to track the ball and make a play on it while in the air. He catches the ball at it’s highest point, and will win 50/50 balls. He has good speed and strength. His frame could use some extra bulk. He is good in run support and a good form tackler. Also, plays “bigger” than his height/weight listings. Could be a DI FBS or FCS prospect. Weight: 195

4 Star Recruit

Positives

  • Great size

Negatives

  • Often brought down by initial defender

Overall

Jacob has great size and good speed, and has pairs that well with his good route running ability. He is a long-strider which gives him deceptive speed. He has the ability to catch the ball in traffic and get to the first down marker. He does have a tendency to be tackled by the initial defender. As a punter, Jacob has excellent hang time of five seconds, and has demonstrated his ability to angle punts. Could be a DI FBS or FCS prospect.
