Kieran Davis is our second Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game Commitment that is committed to play for a Division I school. The first is Sterlington High School wide receiver John Barr, who is committed to play for ULM and the second is Kieran. As of now, Kieran Davis is committed to play at East Carolina. At 6’2, 240 pounds with running back speed, there is no wonder why Kieran will be a Saturday player. As a sophomore, he placed 6th in state in track for the 110 meter hurdles. He also has the family genes as his father is Charles Grant, who was a Super Bowl champion defensive end for the New Orleans Saints. He also gets the athleticism from his mother Lena Davis, who played volleyball at LSU. She also has her jersey retired at Westminster Christian Academy as she was an All-State basketball, volleyball, and softball player in high school. Like his dad, Kieran is being recruited as a defensive end. Before prepping at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Georgia, the former Max Preps All-American started his prep career at St. Edmund High School in Eunice, Louisiana where he originally played running back rushing for 781 yards and eight touchdowns on 120 carries. Last season, Kieran had 77 tackle, 9 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries playing at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. Kieran is so excited to be reunited with his former high school head coach James Shiver, who will be on the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game coaching staff at the end of December in Orange Beach, Alabama for his final high school game before playing in college.
