Vidalia High School speedster Jalin Moody has been one of the Vikings’ explosive playmakers and will get the chance to show off his speed in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. Jalin is not only one of the football team’s best playmakers, but he has also proven to be a sensational track athlete. This past spring, after winning the regional track meet in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash, Jalin respectively placed third in both categories with a 11.06 100 meter dash and a 22.50 meter time in the 200 meter dash. Jalin is looking forward to showing college coaches that he has what it takes to play at the next level whether it is at receiver or at running back.
“When I received the invitation, I was shocked, excited, and honored. I have worked hard and been very dedicated to improving my skills year by year and game to game. I am very excited to meet with and compete against other athletes from different areas. I really want to see what some of the other regions do differently to be proficient. Again, I am very honored to have to privilege to compete!”
“I can’t wait to see how I and my fellow teammates match up with other students from across the states. I highly appreciate this opportunity so thank you for the consideration. I plan to bring my A game to show that it was a good choice.”
