Donald Bissant is a second player to commit from Sophie B. Wright High School. At 6’0, 205 pounds, Donald may not be known as a big thumper at linebacker, but what he is known for is his quickness when timing blitzes, especially with his 4.5/40 speed. He is reckless, flies all over the field, and does a great job of making plays in opposing offensive backfields. Last season, Donald had 75 tackles, six tackles for loss, four sacks, and a fumble recovery. Because of his explosiveness as a defender, he also plays some offense when needed be too. In the weight room, the senior defender bench presses 270 pounds, squats 415 pounds, and power cleans 225 pounds. After showcasing his skillset in Louisiana, Donald is looking forward to making the most of his opportunity to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of December.
