GF All-American Bowl Game Commit: Tyhler Holloway

Woodlawn High School defensive back Tyhler Holloway may only be 5’8, 177 pounds, but he plays bigger than his size. With ferocity and 4.5/40 speed, Tyhler is not scared of being physical. On the highlight film below, you will see plenty of times he is flying around the football and making plays behind the line of scrimmage. He also does a great job of shedding blocks from receivers and pursuing the football. He is very strong for his size bench pressing 315 pounds, squatting 405 pounds, and power cleaning 305 pounds. Tyhler has a bunch of energy that is infectious to the rest of the defense. Part of a loaded secondary that features Tennessee signee Jordan Matthews, Tyhler was another talented prospect in the back end of the Panthers defense. He also does his work in the classroom posting a 3.2 GPA and sets a great example for Marcus Randall’s squad. Tyhler is looking forward to playing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl in Orange Beach Alabama and having an opportunity to add more offers to the table after he received an offer from Bethany College earlier this year.

“My first reaction knowing about the bowl game was to instantly see if I was able to play and show what this bowl game means that someone else besides my school and family sees potential and something greater in me.”
