GF All-American Bowl Commit: Damarcus Jack

The Elton Indians have had a great season this year winning five games ending the program’s 21 game losing streak. The streak was broken in a 48-12 win over Pickering and the player that paved the way for the Indians to finally get that monkey off their back was its star player Damarcus Jack, who had 209 yards rushing and two touchdowns on only nine carries. At 6’2, close to 230 pounds, Damarcus was everything that the Indians could ask for as he was the team’s go to guy in getting that .500 record. This season, the Indians’ bellcow had over 1,400 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. As a matter of fact, Damarcus was highly praised within his district as he was named 1st Team All-District on offense, 1st Team All-District on defense, 1st Team MVP, and also All-Parish. In the weight room, Damarcus has a lot of physical ability as he can bench press 225 pounds, squat 355 pounds, and power clean 230 pounds. His great individual effort and physical ability has allowed him the chance to compete in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game on December 30th.

“When I found out, I was invited to the All-American Bowl Game, I was so excited. Man, it’s a pleasure to play in it, but I just don’t want to play in it. I want to show the world what I can do. I want to show out for my home town, but it ain’t just about me. It’s a team game. I want to do it for my team.”
