DITR: RB Kemari Thompson Amite County Middle School (Liberty, MS)

Meet our latest diamond in the rough, Kemari Thompson, a powerful and explosive running back out of Amite County School class of 2029 in Liberty, Mississippi. With his quick cuts, downhill running style, and never-back-down mindset, Kemari is proving he’s a true force in the backfield.

What makes Kemari stand out isn’t just his athleticism it’s his relentless drive to improve. Whether it’s grinding through extra reps after practice, studying film, or working on his speed and footwork, Kemari is constantly focused on getting better. He plays with heart, hustle, and an edge that sets the tone for his team.

As a ball carrier, he’s dangerous in open space and tough to bring down, combining vision, balance, and strength to keep the chains moving. But beyond the stats, it’s his consistency and leadership that make him a player coaches can count on.

Kemari may not always be in the spotlight, but his time is coming. With a work ethic that speaks for itself, and a mindset built for success, Kemari Thompson is on the rise. Keep an eye on this standout from Liberty, he’s just getting started, and the best is yet to come. I had the opportunity to speak with Kemari last week and ask him some questions you can read more about him below.
