DITR – Joshua Parr

Joshua Parr is a 6’1″, 170 pound, class of 2024 Outside Linebacker for Westlake High School in Westlake, Louisiana. Joshua is a very productive player for Westlake, racking up 151 total tackles, 6 TFLs, 5 PBUs, 1 INT, and 6 sacks in 2022 as a Junior. Entering his Senior season, Joshua only holds one offer, from John Melvin University in Crowley, LA, but that should change if Joshua performs as well as he did last year. When rushing the passer, Joshua has decent bend and can slip through the cracks of the offensive line with his smaller frame. When dropping back into coverage, he can keep up with many receivers due to his speed. Joshua ran a 4.72 40-time, a 4.38 shuttle, and jumped 8’7″ in the long jump at our recent camp in Rayville, Louisiana. He also impressed coaches in the 7v7 portion of the camp with his coverage abilities.

I had the opportunity to interview Joshua:
