Tell me a little bit about yourself.

J: I’m from Lafayette in my free time I like to work out play basketball, and play the game. On Sundays I go to church and I like to hang out with friends and I also run track.

Can you tell me what made you play football?

J: My grandpa who started off in my family. He played LB at LSU. My dad was an all state player and it just runs in our family.

Can you give me some insight of what is going through your mind before a game?

J: For me I really don’t talk to anyone. I put my headphones in and zone out.

What is something you’ve learned in football that you’ve been able to apply in everyday life?

J: Mostly structure and teamwork. Just being able to bond with people.

What is an academic and athletic goal you have set for this upcoming year?

J: I want a 3.0 GPA and I want to have a 1st Team All State.

What is something that keeps you motivated to be a great athlete?

J: Me, my dad, and my grandpa all bicker about who is the better athlete. It keeps me going and I love the sport.

What is your biggest strength?

J: I can do it all honestly. I had 21 sacks last season. I play running back.

What are you most excited for when you think about your future in football?

J: I just think about being able to explore the world. My coach played Euro Football. He said it can open up new doors for you and provide something you can’t imagine.

What do you want people to know about you? In everyday life or as an athlete?

J: I’m a very nice person. I care about how people feel. I like to eat, I don’t miss a meal. I’m good working in a team environment, and I’d say I’m a pretty good leader.
