
Jaden is a class of 2023 wide receiver for Neville High School in Monroe, LA. He is 6’4 and weighs 170 pounds. He benches 155 and squats 225 pounds. Jaden maintains a 3.1 GPA. Jaden uses his height and reach to his advantage whether he is blocking a defender or catching the ball. He currently has offers from Jackson State and Dartmouth.
Tell me a little bit about yourself.
J: I like to play sports and focus on school. I’m originally from New Orleans.
Can you tell me what made you play football?
J: Watching a lot of football when I was young. It motivated me to be a standout player.
Can you give me some insight of what is going through your mind before a game?
J: I like to listen to music. My dad showed me something about meditation so I do that and pray and try to focus.
What is something you’ve learned in football that you’ve been able to apply in everyday life?
J: Always work hard. Football helped me to be a better man on and off the field. It helps me understand leadership and make better decisions.
What is an academic and athletic goal you have set for this upcoming year?
J: I want a higher GPA and a 21 or higher on the ACT. I want to be the best wide receiver to go through Neville High. I want to be consistent on the field and make big plays.
What is something that keeps you motivated to be a great athlete?
J: For people to see that I’m the best and to show everyone that I can be something great.
What is your biggest strength on the field?
J: Being able to catch the ball. I catch a lot of footballs and tennis balls. I feel like I’m way smarter at the game now.
What are you most excited for when you think about your future in football?
J: The accomplishments in the future that I think I can have. Showing everyone the hard work you don’t see off the field.
