How long have you been playing football? Nine years now.

Do you play any other sports? I used to do wrestling, but now I’m really focused on football.

What do you like about playing football? Mainly just hitting people, but I also enjoy being a leader and being part of something bigger than me.

Do you play inside or outside LB? Inside.

Do you consider yourself more of a run stuffer or coverage LB? Run stuffer.

What do you like about playing LB? I like hitting people and having more control on the field.

What separates you from others? I study a lot of film; I study my opponents starting now. As soon as the schedule comes out, I’m studying who I have to play against.

What area of your game needs work? My man-on-man coverage.

What are you doing to get better? Staying in the weight room, working on my speed, and staying after practice with the DB’s to get better in coverage.

Why did you decide to play LB? When I was younger, I started off as a Defensive Lineman but, my body was molding into a LB, and I ended up being very good at it.

Besides LB can you play any other positions? Yes, I can play DE, but I feel like I can play the whole defense.

How would your teammates and coaches describe you? A leader, hard worker, and smart player.

Has football taught you any valuable lessons? It taught me a lot, but mainly how to stay focused and not give up. If one door is closed another one will open, and you have to fight for what you want. You’re not the only person fighting for a spot or a scholarship.

Would you prefer covering a RB or TE? RB.

What do you think makes a good LB? You have to be smart and quick on your feet, not everything is going to go as planned and you have to know how to improvise.

What would you consider to be your biggest strength? My football IQ and my physicality.

Is there a player you can compare yourself to? I’ve always looked up to Luke Kuechly and I try to play like him. He’s one of the smartest players to ever play, he knew the play before the play started, and I try to be like that

What part of your game stands out? I take good Pursuit angles; I make myself look quicker than what I am by taking proper pursuit angles.

Why should colleges give you a shot? Because I take football very seriously and I have the IQ to play, all I need is one shot to prove myself.
