Joshua Cooley is a 5’9, 237lb. defensive tackle from Bogalusa High School in Bogalusa, Louisiana and is in the class of 2025. Joshua is a intelligent student-athlete with a GPA of a 3.5 and has an interesting performance on the field. Throughout his career, Joshua has averaged 40 tackles and 8 of them being solos and is confidently ready for his upcoming season as a senior. He is a very talented athlete who has the potential to be the best when given the opportunity to.

What are some things you have overcome in life?

Some things I want to overcome in my life is get my family out of Bogalusa and play to the next level in order to do that.

What are some of your biggest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishments in life is continuing to do good in life and stay around positivity and success.

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

I really can say that I compare myself to Chris Jones because I have strength to lay a hit on someone.

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

My plans when I am done with football is to get a good working job that way I can help out my family and do something positive.

What are your goals/new things you want to accomplish for this upcoming season?

My goals I want to accomplish is to get better, faster, stronger, and study more film that way I can be mentally ready for my senior year.

How did it feel to participate in the camp and what was the most interesting thing about it?

It felt good participating in the gridiron camp, I was happy to meet the coaches and see some talent fly around out there an be able to compete against them.

What is an interesting thing about you outside of football?

An interesting fact about me outside of football is that I love helping people and my family out, being good to people, and I love playing with my little brother and sisters.

What is your dream college to play for?

My dream college to play for is Texas Longhorns because I have seen players in the league play to the best of their abilities by the coaches there teaching them great things.
