DITR: ATH Christian Brown, Salmen High (Slidell, LA)

Christian Brown is a 5’8, 150lb. student-athlete who plays both running back and wide receiver at Salmen High School and is in the Class of 2025. Christian is a very interesting person who has a GPA of a 3.1 and was able to participate in the Gridiron Football Elite Camp in Covington, where he showed off his skills and put his speed and agility to the test. So far throughout his career in high school, Christian has averaged 400 rushing yards and 600 yards for a return. Overall, he seems like a player who has all the talent needed to make it big.

What are some things you have overcome in life?

Some things I’ve overcame in life is fighting through the mental and physical aspect of this sport and also being able to play well while being undersized.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishments are being one of the best of my class and being able to help my team year by year get better.

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

A player I compare myself to is Barry sanders and Darren Sproles because they both had very quick footwork and agility and Sproles was a small back who was able to have great success in playing through his lack of build.

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

My plans once I’m done with football is to either go into welding, or be an electrician because I’ve always had interest in electrical work and welding i had done in high school.

What are your goals/new things you want to accomplish for this upcoming season?

Some goals and things I want to accomplish this season is to get 1st team all district and to get at least 20 touchdowns.

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

This sport is significant to me because it was the first sport I’ve played and i’m always been stuck on the sport of football I loved it at a child.

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

An interesting fact about me is i also play soccer as another side sport.

What is your dream college to play for?

My dream colleges that I am interested in playing at is Mississippi State and ULL.

How did it feel to participate in the camp and what was the most interesting thing about it?

It felt very great participating at the camp and I really enjoyed it. Being able to go against different competition definitely made me a better player.
