Meet Kaleb Broussard out of Acadiana Christian. Kaleb is defined by his versatility and dedication. On the field, his favorite position to play is linebacker, but he is effortlessly adaptable. He has been named player of the game and has many accolades to his name. He says he puts all his time and effort into football and if you watch him, you will believe it. Kaleb is also a phenomenal student with a gpa of 4.1 and is a part of the class of 2026. We recently got the chance to chat with him and below you can read what he had to say.
What would be the definition of a perfect senior season?
“Win the state championship, what’s better than that? As far as individually I want to just dominate, to win out the season. “
What are your biggest strengths?
” My work ethic and my agressiveness . I definitely put everything on the table, all my time, all my effort into football. “
Is there a player you like to model your game after?
“Ray Lewis”
What do you need to improve on?
“I need to just improve my craft in general, really everything.”
What’s it like playing for your coach?
” It’s the best. He’s the best coach I’ve ever had. He always puts god first which is the number one priority especially for our team. He’s definitely a go getter, won’t back down to anybody. He will never overlook an opponent. It’s always just hard work all of the time. “
Which teammate would you challenge for the big cat drill and why?
” One of my best friends Malakai Coon. He’s definitely one of the best hitters on our team and I definitely would challenge him.
What team would you say you have to beat this next season?
” JPG, John Paul the Great. They’ve beat us for the past 3 years and that’s the team we have to go up against in the state championship every year so definitely that team.”
What’s the recruiting process been like for you ?
I recently started my social media, been getting my film together. I’ve been going to a lot of camps and trying to get as much exposure as possible.”
Why should college coaches recruit you?
“I’m going to put as much work into football as I possibly can. All my time is going to go into my craft and if I’m on a team I believe I will make them better. Whether that’s encouraging, uplifting, or holding people accountable, I will be a leader no matter where I am. “
