Isaiah Leblanc is a sophomore at Breaux Bridge High School in the state of Louisiana. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches tall weighting 172 pounds. Isaiah, an intelligent wide receiver, possesses a keen understanding of techniques to create openings for his quarterback. From his film he shows excellence in finding the soft spots of the defense weather its zone or man coverage. Isaiah would finish his sophomore season with 32 catches for 400 yards with two touchdowns. He’s merely scratching the surface, having averaged 12.5 yards per catch during his sophomore year, and with two full years ahead, there’s ample room for further development and improvement.

What or who got you to start playing football?

” I started playing football because growing up my cousins and I would always compete against each other playing football outside in the yard.”

How long have you been playing football?

”I’ve been playing football since the age of 7 and started out playing recreational football.“

What positions do you play?

“ Positions that I play are mainly Wide Receiver but I can also play Quarterback and Safety.”

What NFL player do you like watching?

”My favorite NFL player to watch is Amon-Ra St. Brown because he is a reliable, and explosive player who always makes the big plays, similar to the type of impact player that I would like to be.“

What is the most challenging aspect of football of football to you?

” The most challenging aspect of football to me is being recognized as one of the best. Playing football is not challenging, it’s enjoyable. The work I put in is not challenging to me, the exposure part is challenging because of the amount of high school players who want to get recognized is high and sometimes you can get overlooked.

What is a strength that you have in your game?

”My biggest strengths in my game are my physical attributes. I have a good size and good speed so at the Wide Receiver position I can overcome lots of smaller defensive backs.”

What is something you’re working on to improve your game?

” I am working on my overall athleticism and strength so that I can be even better at what I do. Getting faster, stronger, and more athletic is important because it will help me propel and take my game to the next level.”

What are your current football goals?

”My current football goals as an incoming Junior are to make the All State team, and to achieve my first D1 Scholarship as a junior.”

What’s your dream schools?

” Honestly, I don’t have any specific School that I want to go to as of now, but I dream to play football at a Power5 college. “

What’s your favorite activity outside of football?

” Outside of football, activities that I like to do to stay active is to exercise and participate in different sports such as basketball and running track.”

What is something you would say that football has taught you?

” Something that football taught me is to continue chasing my dreams and also if I want to achieve anything in life, I must work hard because at the end of the day, hard work pays off.
