DISMAL START FOR THE SAINTS WEEK 1, BUT AMAZING GAME FOR GREEN BAY!

Jameis Winston passed for a touchdown and ran for another and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers  defeat the mistake-prone Saints 26-19 on Sunday.

Winston seemed to be composed in the hostile Superdome. He completed 14 of 21 passes for 207 yards and was not intercepted. He lost one fumble, but the Saints couldn’t cash in, missing a 42-yard field goal. The Saints turned the ball over twice on fumbles. In the end New Orleans had two chances to tie the game at the Bucs 27 in the final 8 seconds, but both passes fell incomplete.

I have issued an Amber alert  for the Saints defense. Lets hope they get it together for next week.

Now on to Green Bay. Green Bay suffered from it’s worst deficit at the half in its 100 year history. Then QB Rodgers was injured and taken off the field in the dreaded cart. Things looked dismal for Green Bay too but then Aaron Rodgers returned from a knee injury, playing on one leg, to overcome the 20-point deficit leading the Green Bay Packers to a 24-23 win over the Chicago Bears.

A stunning ‘Sunday Night Football’ win!!
