How long have you been playing football and what got you started playing?

I’ve been playing football since I can remember. My brother was a big influence on me. All he knew was football, so he helped me get started.

What has football taught you about life?

Football has taught me everything I know as far as being a good person and being respectful. I know there are people watching me, so I keep working hard so I don’t have a bad influence on them.

Where do you see football taking you in life?

I’m using football to put me on a good path in life and get my degree. I’m not depending on football, as in the NFL, to take me where I want to go. I want to make sure I get my degree.

What is the strong point of your game?

My hands and my mindset. I go up against guys knowing that I’m not going to lose.

What can you bring to a college program that will make you special?

I’m a good person with a good heart and a good mindset.

Is there a college or professional player you compare your game to?

I would say Everson Griffen of the Minnesota Vikings. We both use our hands very well and have explosive get-offs.

Who has been the biggest influence on you?

My brother. He played football and I looked up to him. Everything he did, I did. He was a good influence on my life, because I could be doing way worse than I’m doing right now, but he just made me keep going and taught me to finish what I start.
