Holy Savior Menard High School (Alexandria, LA) defensive lineman Braylon Dusang has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Saturday, December 30th at Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At 6’4, 305 pounds, this mammoth defensive tackle is a brick wall and is hard to move for any opposing lineman.
Throughout his prep career, Dusang has lined up majority of the time on the defensive side of the football. He creates havoc for the interior offensive line as his big frame and strength allows him to plug gaps and push offensive linemen back. He also has the experience of also playing on the offensive line on his side as a two way starter for the Eagles. Dusang has shown that he can play either side of the ball after making 1st Team All-District on the offensive and defensive line two years in a row. His ability to stuff the run and still have the ability to rush the quarterback are two traits that he has picked up from New Orleans Saints All-Pro defensive lineman Cameron Jordan.
His combination of size and strength has drawn the attention of many colleges as he has received six college offers from John Melvin University, Independence Community College, Dodge City Community College, Mississippi Prep, Coahoma Community College, and Community Christian College. Dusang earned an offer to play in the bowl game after his strong performance at the Gridiron Football Elite Camp earlier this spring held at Jonesboro Hodge High School.
