Three-time All-State Calvary Baptist linebacker Hutch Grace has committed to the 2023 Gridiron All-American Bowl!
“Playing in the Gridiron All-American Bowl Game is an honor. I get to spend the week learning from the best coaches and competing with the best athletes from around the country. It’s truly an opportunity for me to improve both as a person and player.”
For his career, the Ouachita Baptist commit has recorded 295 tackles (112 solo), 11 sacks, eight forced fumbles and 11 interceptions. Four of Grace’s interceptions were returned for touchdowns. Along with being named to the All-State team three times, he was named to the All-District, All-City teams three times. He was also an All-State Region Player of the Year three times as well.
A big inspiration for Grace is his dad.
“I model myself after my dad. I know his character, work ethic, passion for helping people and love for his family. That’s who I want to be! I plan to get my college degree in mechanical engineering and devote my life to creating things that make the lives of others better.”
Outside of football, Grace loves the outdoors and is an avid bowfisherman.
“Nothing like pulling in a 7-foot alligator gar.”
