Sulphur High School 2025 & LSU Legacy TE John David LaFleur Commits To The Tigers

While the 2024 class has already made some steam for LSU Football as a current top 10 class in the country, the 2025 class is starting to heat up as well with Sulphur High School 2025 TE John David LaFleur becoming the third player from next year’s class to commit to the Tigers joining Grayson High School (GA) cornerback Jaylen Bell and fellow LSU legacy in Newman High School OT Brett Bordelon.

Speaking of LSU legacies, John David LaFleur is one as his dad David LaFleur was an All-American tight end at LSU playing for the Tigers from 1993-1996. LaFleur’s dad would later play for the Dallas Cowboys.

Now, John David LaFleur is ready to continue the family name at the position making his commitment announcement today. The 6’6 230-pound tight end from Sulphur, Louisiana is a two-sport athlete that is also a standout basketball player for the Tors.

The rising junior is a top 15 tight end in the country and a top 10 player in Louisiana for 2025. The top 2025 tight end in Louisiana chose the Tigers over other offers, which include Florida, Miami, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
