GF All-American Bowl Game Commit: Joshua Williams

Joshua Williams is a 5’5, 155 pound wide receiver out of Avoyelles High School in Avoyelles, LA. As a senior Joshua played both ways as SS/RB where he ran for over 1700 yards and recorded 28 total tackles and one interception on the defensive side. Joshua helped lead his team to a 7-3 regular season record, then into the third round of the playoffs where they fell short to St. James High School. While Joshua’s size may not be the largest, his 4.5/40 speed and shifty lateral movement easily make up for it. Joshua also packs massive power in his legs as he records a 435 pound squat in the weight room.

My first reaction was excitement. I was thrilled to really be a “All American”. Kind of like a dream come true. All the hard work before and during my last season really paid off and I’m grateful for my teammates and Coaches for helping me become a better player and person. I can’t wait to play against these guys who plan to go next level like me. It’s gonna be eye opener and help me scout out what it might be like when I go play College Football. It’ll be fun to meet new people from around the world and see how different people play and their different techniques.
