SEC Opponents Announced For LSU In 2024

Today, the new ramped up SEC will debut in 2024 with Texas and Oklahoma making their move from the Big 12. The 2024 season will also be the first year in which there will be no divisions as the league’s championship game will feature the top two teams in the conference standings at the conclusion of the regular season. The new era of SEC Football was announced today as LSU’s opponents for the 2024 season were made official.

Undoubtedly, the headliner is that LSU will host Oklahoma for the first time ever in Tiger Stadium, but it also looks like many of the Tigers’ biggest rivals will remain intact including games against familiar opponents such as Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, and Texas A&M.

Joining Oklahoma, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt will also make the travel to play in Tiger Stadium for the season. LSU will make the travel to play on the road against Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, and Texas A&M.

To add in to the number of interesting conference matchups, LSU will open the 2024 season on Sunday, September 1st against USC in Las Vegas followed by the team’s home-opener against Nicholls State, another Pac-12 non-conference matchup in Tiger Stadium against UCLA, and finally, South Alabama before conference play begins.
