Meet Mason Graves, a rising star from St. Jude the Apostle school in Baton Rouge, La. Mason is a talented player that stands at 5’11 and 205 pounds. While just in 8th grade, he has a deep love for football. Mason plays with an evident passion for the game. I had the opportunity to speak with him this past week and got to ask him a few questions.
What got you into playing football?
“My dad really pushes me and so I started playing and once I did, I fell in love.”
What did you think of the Gridiron bowl game?
” I loved it. I wish it lasted longer and wasn’t on a running clock.”
Who is your favorite player to watch?
“Jason Kelce”
What teams do you like to root for?
” I like to watch the Saints for NFL and LSU for college.”
What do you think your biggest strength is?
” Rising to a challenge, not quitting. I don’t give up just because someone may be bigger than me or anything like that.”
What are your goals going forward?
“Mainly I just want to get bigger and stronger.”
Do you have a fun fact about yourself?
” I am a black belt in taekwondo.”
