Meet our latest Rising Star Juelz Harris, out of Ferriday Jr High. At just 13 years old, Juelz Harris is already showcasing the kind of talent that commands attention. Representing Ferriday Junior High and the Class of 2029, Juelz is a dynamic athlete who excels as both a wide receiver and cornerback, bringing flash, finesse, and fearless energy to every snap.
On offense, Juelz lit up the field this season with 385 receiving yards on 22 receptions, scoring 4 touchdowns. His speed and route-running allow him to cover ground quickly and create explosive plays downfield. Whether he’s breaking open deep or making defenders miss in space, Juelz brings excitement every time the ball comes his way.
Defensively, he’s just as effective. As a cornerback, he recorded 2 interceptions and 8 solo tackles, proving to be a lockdown presence especially in the flats. His ability to anticipate plays and close gaps quickly makes him a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks.
In December, Juelz took his talents to our Gridiron Football Junior High Bowl Game, representing Team Central. Competing against the best athletes around, he held his own and showcased his ability to perform at a high level.
With his work ethic, versatility, and high football IQ, Juelz Harris is well on his way to becoming a name everyone knows. His journey is just beginning, and the future is looking bright for this rising star from Ferriday, La. I had the chance to ask Juelz a few questions last week you can read more about him below.
