Meet our next Rising Star, DL Christian Holmes out of Pineville Jr. High. Christian got the chance to be a part of the Gridiron Football Jr. Bowl Game this past December and was on the winning team, Team Central. While participating, he got to showcase his skills and also learn some new ones. Christian stands at 5’7″ and 305 lbs and displays incredible strength on the field. He also excels in the classroom and currently has a 4.0 gpa. I recently got to speak to a Christian and you can read what he had to say in his interview below.
What got you into football?
” I’ve just really loved the game since I was a kid.”
What did you think of the bowl game?
” It was pretty good.”
Who is your favorite player to watch and why?
“Trent Williams because he’s plays O-line like me.”
What teams do you root for?
” Saints and 49ers”
What do you think your biggest strength is?
” Blocking.”
What are your goals going forward?
“I want to just become great, get D1 offers, and make it to the next level.”
What do you like to do outside football?
“Play basketball and video games”
Do you have a favorite football memory?
” I got lineman MVP at an event I went to.”
What do you want to do with football in the future?
“I want to go pro and then hold camps and teach others”
What would be your dream school to play for?
“LSU”
What are your pregame rituals?
“Listening to music”
