BIO:

Episcopal High School running back Reid Chauvin knows how to carry a team on his back literally. As a two time state powerlifting champion, Chauvin is one of the strongest runners in the state of Louisiana. At 5’9, 195 pounds, the Knights’ two sport star runs like he is 230 pounds when carrying defenders on his back as he is always plowing ahead.

Squatting at 600 pounds, there is no question about his power, but he has some deceptive 4.5/40 speed as well. That combination of power and breakaway speed has allowed him to account for 2,457 yards and 41 touchdowns the last two seasons. The Division II Select state record powerlifter has gotten bigger each year as he went from 165 pounds his freshman year to 175 his junior year, and now, closing in on 200 pounds his senior year.

After sharing the backfield with former Gridiron Football All-American and Navy signee Braeden George, the 2024 season is expected to be the most productive one yet for Chauvin. With a 4.0 GPA and a 28 ACT score, Chauvin has what it takes to be a great addition for any college at the next level.
