Playoff Round 1 Photo Gallery: Episcopal Dominates Martin Luther King en route to 50-6 Victory

Last Thursday, No. 22 seeded Martin Luther King Charter met up for a first round showdown with the 11th seeded Episcopal. The game took place in Baton Rouge, and Episcopal led the way, pulverizing MLK on their way to a 50-6 victory and a matchup this week against No. 6 Bunkie.

MLK scored their six points first. Kendall Neveaux ran for a 75-yard touchdown to open up the scoring, on their first offensive play of the game. Episcopal scored their 50 points in a row, never looking back.

The Knights were led by their pair of running backs, Braeden George and Reid Chauvin. Chauvin ran for 95 yards on sixteen carries while George ran for 16 carries for 177 yards. George scored three times versus Chauvin’s one score. Zach Hu only needed to throw five passes, but made them count, throwing a deep touchdown to Walker Dauzat on one of his completions, and another to Nathan Sanchez. Dauzat also recorded two interceptions, one of which as run back for a touchdown. Two other Knights recorded interceptions as well, Connor Bonds and Brody Bailey being those two.
