High School Football Recruiting: John Curtis Christian High School

Josh Sibley played football for approximately thirteen years. He is now a scout with Louisiana Gridiron Football and is currently scouting high school level talent throughout Louisiana. He hopes to help recruits reach their full potential and get to that next level of play.

John Curtis Christian High School is located in River Ridge, LA. Last season they finished with a district record of 6-0, and an overall record of 11-2.

JR CB/FS

Height: 6.0

Weight: 180

4 Star Recruit

Positives

  • Good vision
  • Fluid in transition

Negatives

  • Had more pass deflections, that could have been interceptions

Overall

Donald has track speed and great coverage ability. He is a solid form tackler with good vision. He should look to work on his catching in the off-season that will definitely translate into more turnovers for his team. Could be a DI or DII prospect. Height: 5.10

Weight: 175

3 Star Recruit

Positives

  • Good speed

Negatives

  • Flat footed in run coverage

Overall

Dominic has decent size, and good speed. He is able to track the ball down while in the air and break up passes. He should focus on his footwork during the off-season, because he can be caught flat footed in run coverage sometimes. Could possibly be a DI or DII prospect. Positives

  • Good speed

Negatives

  • Needs bulk

Ma’khi has good speed to pull away from some defenders. However, his feet often stop on contact and restart again. He should look to adding some bulk in the off-season and working on catching the ball away from his body. Could be a DIII or JUCO prospect.
