GF All-American Bowl Commit: Tramon Douglas II

Woodlawn High School wide receiver Tramon Douglas II has been a great player for Marcus Randall and the Panthers over his career and has been a reliable go to receiver for future LSU quarterback Rickie Collins. Tramon has dynamic track speed as he runs the 100, 200, and 400 meter events as well as the 4×4 track events. In the 4×100 and the 4×200, he helped Woodlawn High School have a top five finish in the state. That track speed translates to the football field where he uses that speed to be one of the top receivers in the Baton Rouge area. Tramon also has the bloodlines to become a special athlete as his father Tramon Douglas Sr. was a legendary receiver at Grambling where he set the SWAC single season record for most receiving yards in a season beating NFL Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice’s mark at Mississippi Valley State. Now, Tramon’s dad coaches him in track and in football. Not only does the second generation player have the bloodlines and the speed to play at the next level, but he has the toughness and determination to do it. After dealing with an ankle injury his junior season, he has rebounded with a vengeance thanks to a strong senior season. He will get the opportunity to end his senior season with an exclamation point at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

“I was very excited whenever I heard that I was invited to this bowl game because as I said to myself, it would give me another opportunity to create some more highlights. It is also an honor to play against the nation’s best because not too many high school athletes get an opportunity like this so I’m just grateful for that and while I’m there, I will get to see where my skill level is at while competing against some of the best in the country.”
