GF All-American Bowl Commit: Issac Casnave

One of the top runners in the St. Tammany/Tangipahoa area has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and he is Salmen High School running back Issac Casnave. Toting the rock for the Spartans, Issac indeed ran the ball like a warrior as he ran with tremendous authority not afraid to take on defenders with his physical running style at 6’1, 213 pounds. Not only is Issac a big back, but he also has some burst as well with 4.6/40 speed to boot. Issac has been the Spartans’ top offensive player the last couple of seasons and is coming off an incredible senior season which he ran for 1,570 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground garnering 1st Team All-District honors. One of the biggest performances he has had this season was in Week 10 when he 13 carries for 131 yards and 5 TDs in a win over Loranger and was number six on our Louisiana Player of the Week list. Despite receiving offers from John Melvin University, Butler, and SAGU, Issac is looking for even more interest at the college level and will get the chance to showcase his talents for the final time in his high school career at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.

“I was just so happy and ready to compete against the best of the best athletes.”
