Mince Minor is a 5’11, 160lb. defensive back that attends Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi and is in the Class of 2025. Mince is an amazing student-athlete with a GPA of a 3.6 and had a interesting football season. This past season, Mince recorded 16 tackles, 2 interceptions, 5 pass break ups, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 touchdown as a defensive back. Overall, Mince is a very talented athlete who has a lot going for him.
What are some things you have overcome in life?
I had to overcome not playing a lot as a freshman and sophomore and work to become a starter my junior year.
What are your biggest accomplishments?
My biggest accomplishments were making All County and All District.
What player do you compare yourself to and why?
I would compare to Jalen Ramsey because he is a great man to man corner and he has a high confidence level.
What are your plans once you’re done with football?
My plans when I’m done playing football is to become a coach, so I can be a mentor to the youth.
What are your goals/new things you want to accomplish for this upcoming season?
My goals for this upcoming season is to catch more interceptions and make more tackles. I also want to be the best DB in the state.
What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?
I like how football makes you into a man because it’s so many days where you go through adversity but you have to keep pushing.
What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?
I like to make jokes and laugh a lot.
What is your dream college to play for?
My dream college to be able to play for would happen to be the University of Alabama.
