Aljour Miles is a WR coming out of Kaufman, Texas in the 2026 class but is already making waves in college football. He finished his sophomore campaign with just over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns on the year with 57 total receptions. His performance last year, in cohesion with his 6’3, 200-pound build put him on the radar for schools across the state and nation. Oklahoma was the first school to pull the trigger on him and after that, they would start to consistently roll in, with the most recent being from TCU.

While Aljour is a huge target that can make towering catches over defenders with his 38-inch vertical, he is no slack in the speed department with 4.58 40 speed making him practically unguardable on the field. He also has a 4.0 GPA, a huge accomplishment so far and his classroom dedication got him selected for academic all-district.

For NFL, I’d probably say DK Metcalf. I like how he plays a lot and then for college, I try to throw some Ryan Williams in with my juke moves and stuff like that. I try to keep a balance of my skills and be as well-rounded as I can.
Okay first question: Who is favorite NFL/College player that you try to model your game after?
The art of it and how you don’t have to do everything one way. There are endless ways to get things done and you can play it your way.
What’s your favorite thing about playing WR?
I don’t really have any dream schools, I am just keeping it open and seeing the new offers I receive and picking from there. I’d say my favorite atmosphere, I’ve been to a SMU game and that was a pretty good atmosphere, probably the best I have been to so far.
I see that you have earned some really nice offers so far as only a junior. What would be your dream school to play for or a school that maybe you have visited and really enjoyed the atmosphere there?
School is very important, my parents always stay on me about that, even before football, so I defintely always make sure I am on top of that. I usually just devote all my class time to school work, so I don’t have much homework and I can just do straight football outside of school.
You also have a 4.0 GPA that earned you an academic all-district selection last year, how important is school for you and how do you balance maintaining that and excelling on the field?
I think it would be the game against Anna from last year, even though we lost. I think they were ranked like number 3 in 4-A and I was like here is a big matchup vs a tough team, but I was able to put up like 200 and 3 touchdowns. I really showed myself that I can perform at a high level against good teams on a big stage.
So over your almost 3 seasons so far, What has been your favorite HS game of your career so far and what made it your favorite?
They really keep me humble a lot, they don’t gas me up too much or anything like that, they keep me humble and make sure I always know that I can get better. I feel like that is one of the best things that you can do for someone in my position so i just really appreciate them for that.
How have the coaches and players around you at Kaufman helped you improve to be the best that you can be over the past few years?
This year I wanted to hit 1,500 yards and 15 TDs. I also wanted to have a winning record because we went like 3-6 last year. So I wanted to make sure we got a good season in this year. I am at 10 TDs right now and around 800 yards so I thinnk I can probably get it with maybe a couple roudn in the playoffs.
Entering this year, coming off of a thousand-yard season last year, what were some personal/team goals that you look to accomplish this year?
I think that we have been doing good, spreading the ball out with the run game and getting all the different receivers involved. I think something we need to work on to close out the end of games is just not letting up, because I feel like sometimes we get ahead and think everything is good but we need to just keep our foot on the pedal.
You guys started the season off 5-3 with 3 really tough one-score losses, what is something that has been working well this season and what’s something the team can improve on?
