When did you start playing football? I started playing when I was four years old with the Port Allen Raiders. I also played for the Hornets.

Why did you start playing football? I liked watching is on TV when I was young. My favorite was Tony Romo with the Cowboys. I liked watching him and I wanted to play like him. So when I started playing football, I started out as a quarterback. I practiced everyday to be more like Tony on the field As I grew, I ended up being moved to tight end and learned how to block. When I was in the 6th grade, I moved to wide receiver because I had really good hands.

Who are your role models? Tony Romo and Odell Beckham Jr. I like how composed Tony Romo was, how he played the game and carried his team. I like Odell because now that I play wide receiver, I watch how he plays so I can learn how to get better. In my opinion, he is one of the best in the league.

What have you learned about yourself while playing football? Football has taught me how to be a tough young man because you can have faults, there can be pros and cons while you are playing football and there is only one way to overcome those things and that is to be humble.

What goals have you set for your senior year? I want 15 touchdowns and over 50 receptions for more than 700 yards. I, also, want to have a 4.0 and be on the honor roll. I have been on the honor roll all through high school while taking honors classes so I do not want to break that streak. Finally, I want to finish the season with a State Championship.

Do you play any other sports? Yes sir, I run track. I run the 400 and the long/triple jump. In the 400, my time is 50.29 and my long jump is a 20ft.

How has the Covid Pandemic effected you? It has been tough. We lost our track season last semester and with all the news reports are saying we may loose our senior season in football this fall. However, what keeps me going is hope. I look forward to the good time that will come again. I know I will be in I will be in school somewhere next fall because of my academics. I just hope that we can play this year so we can prove everyone wrong and win a championship. It means everything to me to be able to play college football, so I hope that I will have an opportunity this season to shine and get offered.

What is something you bring to a college football team? A good football IQ. I am able to coach up things I know and that I have been doing. I think I am very coachable I can take in criticism and learn different things as things progress on the college football level.
