When did you start playing football? What made you want to play this sport?

I’ve been playing football since I was like five. It just runs in the family. I love the sport. I’ve grown up around a whole bunch of football players. They all play football.

Do you play any other sports? Talk about your positions and how they help you on the football field.

Yes! Basketball and track. I play DB and you know in basketball you have to guard people, so that helps with that. I play point guard and swing guard. Track helps with my speed, so I’ll be able to guard the defender.

How do you think your coaches and teammates would describe you as a player?

I’m a motivated player! I like to get my teammates involved as I get involved with them.

What has football taught you about yourself or life?

It’s taught me a lot of stuff and it’s kept me away from doing a lot of stuff too.

What is your favorite thing about playing football in Texas?

The competition. The competition level. I love playing the competition.

Is there any specific team or player you like to watch from the NFL?

Yss. Jalen Ramsey from the NFL and Derek Stingley for college.

How hard was it for you to stay in shape since the beginning of the pandemic?

It wasn’t really that hard. I would go outside and run a little bit and do some workouts inside.

Aaron King Jr.

What would you bring to a college team and what are you looking for out of one?

What I bring to a college team? Motivation. Enthusiasm. Being athletic. I’m looking for a program where the coaches will really love me and they’ll get me to the level I’m supposed to be at. The next level.

For major games, how do you handle pressure?

I live under pressure. I never fold under pressure.

What kinds of things do you like to do in your free time?

No, nothing much. Unless I’m working out, not really.

Have you thought about what you would like to study in college?

No, not yet. Maybe a business man, entrepreneur.

What would you say is your strongest attribute?

Probably my motivation. I like motivating.

What are some expectations you have for yourself and for the team as a whole?

What I expect from myself/ play hard, practice hard. I expect my team to do the same thing that I’m doing.

Are there any individual stats you are trying to chase?

Yes. I’m want to get at least 10 interceptions and a whole bunch of tackles.

Is there anyone you try to model your game after?

No, not really. I just try to play like me. Unless I’m watching college or NFL football, I try to use some of their techniques and see what works, but I really just use what my trainer teaches me.

What do you want to get out of playing football?

Go big time. That’s all I want. To go to the NFL.

What challenges have you faced up to this point?

Playing against the best since I was little. Playing up. Just playing against older people.

Who is your motivation?

My dad. I’m trying to be better than him. Better than he was.
