Catholic High School (Baton Rouge) QB Daniel Beale Commits To The Ragin’ Cajuns

Today, Louisiana’s top rated quarterback for the 2024 class has made his college decision to commit to the UL Ragin’ Cajuns in Catholic High School (Baton Rouge) QB Daniel Beale. The 6’3, 195 All-State quarterback and two time state champion decided to stay in his home state where he chose the Ragin’ Cajuns over other offers including Tulane, Nicholls State, Louisiana Tech, North Texas, ULM, Memphis, Houston, and Colorado State.

“Coach Des and all of the coaches on staff are amazing and have created something special in Lafayette! I truly feel at home when I am over there and it is not too far! I like the offense a ton and I feel like I can really thrive in their system!”

Beale has had a fantastic prep career playing for the Bears as he is entering his fourth season as the starter where he has earned All-District, All-Metro, and All-State honors while leading the team to two state championships. He is coming off his best statistical season yet where he broke six school records accounting for 2,623 yards and 42 total touchdowns.

For the Ragin’ Cajuns 2024 class, this marks their fourth commitment overall and the second from the Baton Rouge area joining Zachary High School three star linebacker Ethan Veal.

The Ragin’ Cajuns have had plenty of success getting quarterbacks from the Red Stick as some of the program’s best all-time signal callers played high school football in Baton Rouge including Levi Lewis (Scotlandville), Blaine Gauthier (Lutcher), and Terrance Broadway (Capitol).

Once Beale arrives on campus, he will join fellow Baton Rouge signal caller Zeon Chriss (Madison Prep) on the roster.
