Calvary Baptist 4 Star 2025 OL Devin Harper Commits To LSU

Just a couple of days after LSU got one of the top recruiting gems in the state of Louisiana for the 2025 class, they once again got a Top 3 player in the state in Calvary Baptist Academy four star offensive lineman Devin Harper.

The Shreveport native is another huge pickup for the Tigers as the 6’5, 300 pounder chose the Tigers over the likes of other SEC schools Georgia and Tennessee. Offensive line coach Brad Davis played a pivotal role in Harper’s recruitment as his ability to recruit and develop offensive linemen was a big reason for the standout’s commitment.

For a guy his size, Harper has nimble feet and always continues to play through the whistle. His athleticism, nimbleness, and strength gives him a lot of upside at the position when he does arrive on the campus.

The top 10 nationally ranked offensive lineman originally prepped for Captain Shreve High School this past season where he led the Gators to the 1-5A district championship and a 9-1 record, but the 1st Team All-District selection will play his final year of eligibility for the defending LHSAA Division III (Select) state champion Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers.

This pickup for the LSU Tigers was another nod of the cap to Brian Kelly’s staff as right now, the 2025 class is the number one class in the country, which also includes the number one quarterback, running back, and wide receiver in the country as well.
