Marksville High School (Marksville, LA) DT Demerion Dupas commits to the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. At 6’1, 265 pounds, Dupas is one of many talented defensive linemen that will be participating to play in the game. Playing for the Tigers, he has been one of the constant great leaders for new head coach Josh Harper to rely on. Over four years, the veteran Marksville Tiger has been an important piece to their defense with 154 total tackles (62 solo), five sacks, and a forced fumble.

Dupas, who averaged five tackles per game, made 1st Team All-District (DL) and 2nd Team All-District (OL) his senior season. In 2022, he made All-District honorable mention (OL) and 1st Team All-Parish (DL). Then, finally, his sophomore year, he made 1st Team All-District (OL), 1st Team All-Parish (OL), and 2nd Team All-Parish (DL).
As a two way starter, Dupas is a crafty technician that does a great job of using his hands and finding the ballcarrier. He has also shown that he has the flexibility to play either inside or outside, and he models himself after Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Ed Oliver.

Currently, Henderson State has offered him to play college football while Louisiana Christian has certainly shown some interest. After a great showing at the Eunice Gridiron Football Elite Camp earlier this offseason, he was given an offer to play at the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, and he is excited to showcase his skills one last time.

When his playing days are over, Demerion Dupas wants to be a historian. Off the field, he is calm, relaxed, and enjoys hanging out with his family.
