One of the top running backs in Louisiana has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. From Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Braeden George is certainly one of the most fun running backs to watch when he has the ball in his hands. At 5’11, 195 pounds with 4.4/40 speed, George has blistering speed that once he gets to the second level. Once he reaches the second level, you can forget about catching him. Fortunately for the Knights, he has done that a lot of that this year as he is one of the state’s leading rushers with 1,586 yards and 23 touchdowns highlighted by a 273 yard and three touchdown performance against Port Allen and a 231-yard, four touchdown performance against St. Thomas Aquinas earlier this season. George has taken major strides in his senior year as the Knights’ star running back after coming onto the scene as a junior with 908 yards and 17 touchdowns last season. As explosive and dynamic of a player he is on the field as one of the best backs in the state, he is just as impressive in the classroom posting a 3.5 GPA and a 30 on his ACT. Currently, he has received offers from Cornell, Centenary College, and Navy, but would love to add more offers after he shows off his skills in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity. I get to play with and against some of the best athletes around.”
