Rising Star, OL/DL Jax Spiller, Westdale Middle School (Baton Rouge, LA)

Jax Spiller is a 5’9, 206lb. offensive and defensive lineman from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attends Westdale Middle School. He also was able to participate in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game for Junior High. Jax is an extraordinary student athlete with a GPA of a 3.6, and 5.2/40 speed, and is a very hard-working person on the field itself.

What are some things you have overcome in life?

Losing my house in 2021 to a flood and going through a hard time after.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

One of my biggest accomplishments is being able to play in the gridiron football bowl.

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

I would like to see where football takes me, but if not I would like to look into a trade.

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

What I like about football is how you get to build a bond with your teammates and how you can use aggression in a positive way.

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

That I like to work out, play video games, and hang out with friends.

What did it mean to be able and play in the Gridiron football Bowl game?

Being able to play in the bowl game was a huge accomplishment and it meant a lot especially because this was my first year playing and how all the work paid off.

What is your dream school to play for in college?

My dream school is LSU.
