Q & A
What were some key take aways that you learned from your experience in The Bowl Game and your time playing football?
The importance of mental and physical toughness.
What made you choose football?
It kind of chose me… When I was younger, I had always wanted to play basketball, but at the time I was already playing Pee-Wee football. When I got older, I ended up moving schools and signed up for football to get to know people, but I almost decided not to play at all. Once I started seeing results in the gym and on the field, I started feeling more confident and it encouraged me to keep at it, in hopes I could achieve bigger things one day.
What do you believe to be your strengths?
I’m always trying to challenge better myself, I’m approachable, and I will always do what it takes to reach the end goal.
What is your drive or motivation for playing football?
My mom. And to hopefully give my family a better life if I can get colleges scholarships and eventually be drafted in the NFL.
What improvements have you seen in your life over the past couple years?
I have definitely seen them on and off the field. I have learned to be more disciplined, but I have also noticed how I am learning from my mistakes and starting to mature.
What would be your dream team to play on?
College: Georgia or LSU NFL: The Patriots when Tom Brady still played
What is a significant personal accomplishment?
Self-improvement in my position as DT.
What are your future goals?
To get a Bachelors Degree in Business, while playing college football, and hopefully get drafted. If not, I have plans for going into real estate and owning my own business, but either outcome, it is also my hope to one day have my own family.
