Tell me a little bit about yourself.

M: I’m from Jacksonville, FL and now I’m here at Rosepine. I’m very chill and I don’t talk a lot in school,  but when I work out and I’m out on the field, I’m hype. I’m a family person and I like spending time with my family.

What made you play football?

M: Seeing my older brother play and learning more about how my dad played. I was always a physical kid and it was a great way to show my physicality. Ever since I started playing, I fell in love with it.

Can you give some insight of what is going through your mind before a game?

M: I go to Hudl and watch other team plays. I like getting into the zone and listening to my football playlist. I get angry so I can be aggressive on the field.

What is an academic and athletic goal you have set for this upcoming year?

M: I want to maintain my 3.8 GPA and I want to get a 23 ACT score. I want to make first team all state, get looked at by colleges, and make over 200 tackles next season.

What is the best advice you have received from a coach regarding football?

M: Don’t overthink yourself, put what you learn out on the field. Let your actions do the speaking for you.

What is something that keeps you motivated to be a great athlete?

M: Seeing my dad prosper and always work his two businesses. And seeing my brothers succeed makes me want to prosper and go for what I want in life.

What is your biggest strength on the field?

M: I would say my speed.

What are you most excited for when you think about your future in football?

M: Getting the opportunity to showcase my skill to the world.

What do you want people to know about you? In everyday life or as an athlete?

M: I’m about business. I’m going to get the job done. I’m about my work and I’m a chill person.
