#1 Abbeville (LA) 2027 QB Kobe Vital: 17,434 votes

Kobe Vital did all that he could for his team in the final week of the regular season. He would throw for 315 passing yards, 230 in the first half alone, and 3 TDs. On the ground, he also had 79 rushing yards and a TD, for almost 400 all-purpose yards and 4 total touchdowns. He would score all of the teams points but his effort would come up short in a 42 to 28 loss vs Erath. With Vital only being a sophomore, he is sure to develop into something special over the course of his high school career.

#2 Jewel Sumner (LA) 2026 RB/LB Jamohn Dyson: 16,883 votes

As a junior, Jamohn Dyson has already showed how big of an impact player he can be for Jewel Sumner over the course of his career. In their season finale, he had 203 rushing yards and 1 TD. He also played a big role for them on defense accounting for 9 tackles. But no play was bigger than 2-point conversion to win against district rival, Amite in a close 29-27 game that came down to the wire after they stormed back from a 14-point deficit. His performance led the team to becoming District Champions for the first time since 2004.

#3 Woodlawn (LA) 2025 RB Quintin Wilson: 2,904 votes

Quintin Wilson got a full workload in last week’s matchup against Booker T Washington. He would finish the night with 38 carries for 293 yards and 3 total TDs. He would be huge for the Knights, pounding the run game all night and scoring all but one of their touchdowns in the 28-24 win.

#4 Archbishop Hannan (LA) 2025 WR Hayden Alonzo: 810 votes

Hayden Alonzo put up huge numbers all season long and this game he only needed the first half to rack up almost 200 yards and a few touchdowns. He would end his night with 7 catches for 183 yards and 3 TDs, but they would lose the game 49-28 against Franklinton, the number one team in Division II (Non-Select).

#5 Tulsa East Central (OK) 2025 ATH Donavon “DJ” Jackson: 730 votes

Donovan “DJ” Jackson has been on this list before but this performance deserved another nomination. At receiver, he had 14 catches for 181 yards and 2 TDs. In the backfield, he would only get 6 carries but ran for 41 yards and added another TD. He plays both sides of the ball and had 1 interception on the defensive side. Most importantly, he would score the game-winning TD in overtime in a 28-25 win over Coweta.

#6 Chalmette (LA) 2025 ATH Jaden Williams: 615 votes

Jaden Williams is listed as a WR, but he impacted the game at 3 different positions for his team. At RB, he had 5 carries for 43 yards and added a rushing TD. At his primary position, WR, he had 3 receptions for 79 yards and 2 of the 3 catches went for touchdowns. In the 4th quarter, he would come down with the game-sealing interception in the 34-28 win over Salmen in the District 7-5A Championship.

#7 Zachary (LA) 2025 RB Davekio Ruffin: 339 votes

Davekio Ruffin was in one the best games that Louisiana had to offer in week 10, a matchup vs Catholic High. He would not disappoint for his team in the high-scoring affair, having 298 yards on the ground and a whopping 6 TDs in the game. While they would come up short, it was not because of the offense, which was able to put up 55 points on one of the top defenses in the state.

#8 Catholic (LA) 2027 RB Jayden Miles: 174 votes

Jayden Miles is only a sophomore but has already etched his name in Catholic’s history books after his performance last Friday night. Facing off against our previous nominee, Davekio and Zachary, he would be a huge part of the 73-55 win on the road over the Broncos. He would end the night with 179 yards, but would get his 7th TD of the game with a minute remaining to set a new record for touchdowns scored in a single game.

#9 Madison Central (MS) 2025 RB Glen Singleton: 174 votes

Glen Singleton was huge for his team in the week 10, 49-39 victory over Clinton. He would score 5 of the team’s touchdowns on 25 carries and ran for 232 yards. He hails from Mississippi and plays on one of the best teams in the state, Madison Central, who is currently 8-2.

#10 Church Point (LA) 2025 RB Tyrese Boast: 71 votes

Tyrese Boast ran wild in week 10, with just over 300 rushing yards. On only 23 carries, he had 303 yards on the ground, averaging 13.2 yards per carry and 4 TDs. He would also have 1 reception for 22 yards. He led the way for the Bears in their 55-28 point victory over Ville Platte.

#11 Evangel Christian (LA) 2026 WR Johnny Casey: 37 votes

Next up on the list, we have Johnny Casey who had 5 catches for 163 yards and also scored 3 TDs for Evangel Christian. Catching passes from QB Peyton “Pop” Houston has to be a receiver’s dream, as he has let it rip all season long putting up huge numbers. Big QB stats lead to big WR stats and Casey got the love this past Friday. Every point they scored would be needed for the team to get the 2-point victory over Parkway in a 45-43 game.

#12 Franklin Parish (LA) 2026 QB Dezyrian Ellis: 29 votes

Dezyrian Ellis had one of the most productive stat lines from this week, playing the QB position. Through the air, he was 11/19 for 247 and 4 passing TDs. On top of the already impressive night at quarterback, as a dual-threat, using his legs on the ground he would have 11 carries for 138 yards and 2 TDs to end the night with 6 total touchdowns and almost 400 total yards. This 64-48 win got Franklin Parish their first District Championship in program history, finishing the season 9-1.

#13 Thomas Jefferson (LA) 2025 RB/OLB Bryce Wilkerson: 23 votes

Bryce Wilkerson is another RB/LB hybrid who runs through defenses and loves to meet the other team’s RB in the hole and bottle them up. He would get only 15 carries but ran for 276 yards, averaging 18.4 yards per carry. He also scored 3 of the team’s 4 touchdowns in the 28-27 win over Fisher. On defense, he would also add 5 tackles and a PBU but his offensive performance was instrumental in the win.

#14 Booker T Washington N.O. (LA) 2025 RB Demeico Barnes: 14 votes

Demeico Barnes had a huge night in the final regular-season game of his high school career. The senior RB ran for 320 yds and 4 touchdowns in a 42-32 win on the road vs Wright.

#15 Evangel Christian (LA) 2027 QB Peyton Houston: 8 votes

Rounding out our list, we have Evangel Christian QB Peyton Houston. His WR was on this list as well with 3 TDs, so you can expect a good stat line from him as well. He was 26-42 through the air, throwing for 439 yards and 3 TDs in the close 45-43 win. He has put up huge numbers all season, currently on LHSAA state record watch with 4,477 passing yards entering the playoffs.
