I was able to get in touch with the Senior for South Lafourche and I got the chance to ask him some questions about himself and his experience playing football.

“When did you begin playing football?”

“I started playing contact football in 7th grade, but before that, I played flag football since I was 7.”

“What is your favorite part about football?”

“Striking up the band on a big play.”

“Who is your favorite football player?”

“I’ve always liked Josh Allen.”

“Do you play any other sports?”

“I am on the basketball team and I will be doing Track this year too.”

“How are you balancing school with athletics right now?”

“Throughout the day, it’s school, you know it gets boring sometimes. I just try to keep my head in the game and get my school work done and do things right and then when its over with, it’s on to football practice.”

“Do you have any offers at the moment?”

“I do not at the moment but I do have interest from about 4 to 5 different schools.”

“Is there any specific school you would want to play for after high school?”

“No I am keeping my options as open as possible.”

“What do you plan on studying in college?”

“It’s going between either being a lineman or sport medicine.”

“What has been your greatest challenge that you faced playing football?”

“It would probably be having to deal with an injury, you sit out a whole week and then come once it’s game time you are just itching to be out there with your boys, playing under the lights because that’s a feeling like no other.”

“What are your greatest strengths?”

“My greatest strength are definitely my parents, my support from my community, my coaches and my teammates.”

“Is there anything that you could improve upon?”

“I think there is always something to improve on, whether it’s something big or something small. But for myself personally, I think I can improve on being more patient when running the ball and knowing more about the game itself.”

“What has been your favorite game or moment from this season?”

“My favorite game from this season was against our rival Central, I had 5 touchdowns with 36 carries for 221 rushing yards.”
