After last weeks game against Madison High School in Tallulah, Louisiana was deemed an automatic forfeit win due to COVID, the Woodlawn Panthers have an unusual start to their 2021 football season but the Panthers are used to the adversity after the COVID-19 pandemic only allowed them to play 4 games in 2020 season. Two weeks ago the team traveled to University Lab where they fell to a talented University Lab team in a hard fought 34-14 defeat. This week the Panthers face an even larger challenge as they travel to 5A powerhouse West Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana. Panthers head coach Marcus Randall expects a large and playoff atmosphere in West Monroe. In this weeks coaches corner, Coach Randall speaks about the keys to this game for his team are to focus on themselves and not fall into all of the hype surrounding the game. Coach Randall also dishes on what he expects to see from his signal caller in junior quarterback, Rickie Collins and his growth throughout the season.
